ISLAMABAD: Adviser to the Prime Minister on Information and Broadcast Firdous Ashiq Awan has been shifted to Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) after her health deteriorated during a meeting of the federal cabinet on Tuesday.
Initial reports suggested that she suffered from an allergic reaction.
Doctors said that they will be able to provide more information after thoroughly examining the patient.
A cabinet meeting, chaired by Prime Minister Imran Khan, is currently underway. The meeting is expected to discuss a 12-point agenda, including the purported videotape of accountability judge Arshad Malik.
